Nothing is impossible: A para-sport epic from Monaco to Nice
"Nothing is impossible" Challenge A para-sport epic from Monaco to Nice on the 2024 Tour de France
At Moustache, we took the initiative to participate in the final stage of the 2024 Tour de France, which gave us a historic moment with the “Nothing is impossible” challenge. An extraordinary adventure led by two athletes with disabilities, this action perfectly embodies the spirit of Moustache! We firmly believe that cycling is more than just a means of transport; it is a vehicle for freedom, inclusion, and solidarity. This project embodies our values and our commitment to a fairer and more open society for all.
A 33.7 km time trial stage of pure happiness ;-{D
Imagine yourself on a bike, riding 33.7 km between Monaco and Nice, surrounded by thousands of enthusiastic spectators. That’s exactly what Axel Alletru and Aurélien Vauquelin experienced. But this wasn’t an ordinary stage—it was a time trial on our adapted Moustache electric tandem for Axel and Aurélien, two athletes with disabilities.
Axel Alletru, a world-renowned para-athlete, and Aurélien Vauquelin, a professional cyclist, proved that nothing is impossible. Their bond and determination were a true source of inspiration for everyone. This unique project shows how sport can transcend limits and bring people together around shared values.

Axel Alletru, 34 years old, from Lille
Axel is paraplegic and will be at the front of the tandem. A high-level athlete, he won the Paris-Dakar in para-sport and took part in the Roc d’Azur in 2023 in EMTB. Father of two boys aged 5 and 3, he embodies resilience and determination.
Axel is also a speaker and motivator, inspiring many others through his journey. His participation in high-level competitions demonstrates his commitment to sport and his ability to overcome obstacles.

Aurélien Vauquelin, 40 years old, from Compiègne
Aurélien is blind and will take his place at the rear of the tandem. An engineer graduated from UTC Compiègne, he runs his own company and is the father of three boys aged 10, 7, and 3.
His determination and adventurous spirit make him a role model for all. Aurélien is a high-level para-athlete, thanks to his practice of para-cycling (tandem) with the French National Team between 2003 and 2006.
Our commitment at the heart of the Tour
At Moustache, we promote sport for all by highlighting freedom, inclusion, and solidarity. Throughout the route, the public vibrated with the athletes. The cheers, applause, and palpable energy made this day an unforgettable moment. Axel and Aurélien showed that sport is a tremendous vehicle for resilience and pushing one’s limits. Their adventure, supported by Moustache, strengthened the bonds between participants and the public, highlighting the importance of community and bringing people together through cycling. We believe that cycling is much more than just a means of transport: it is a powerful tool for cohesion, sharing, and social transformation.
The success of the “Nothing is impossible” challenge during the final stage of the 2024 Tour de France is just the beginning. At Moustache, we are more determined than ever to push boundaries and promote inclusion in sport and sustainable mobility. Stay tuned to discover our next innovations and adventures!
