The Friday 27 FS Speed is part of a new generation of bikes: Speed bikes. Capable of riding at 45 km/h and beyond, our Friday 27 FS Speed not only brings a good dose of fun and speed to your daily commutes, it lets you do so safely.

For us, Speed bikes are the ultimate mobility solution for commuters as soon as the distances to be covered are fairly long! Faster than cars or scooters in urban and suburban environments, and even in the countryside. Travel time remains stable whatever the traffic conditions. And in the absence of bike lanes, it is much easier and safer to merge into car traffic because there is little or no speed difference.

Do you live on the outskirts of a big city, in the countryside, or simply have to cover long distances daily in a limited time while wanting to leave the car in the garage? The solution for this type of mobility is probably the Speed bike. While everyone is convinced of the usefulness of bikes and e-bikes, beyond a certain number of kilometers, users look for a means of transport faster than an e-bike in order to cover longer journeys, and to do so safely.

Friday 27 FS Speed is an excellent alternative to public transport or combustion vehicles for your daily trips! And with a footprint of less than 1 m², much smaller than that of a car (between 6 and 9 m²), you free up a lot of public space, just like with a regular bike—a rare commodity these days...

Creating a Speed bike requires great rigor in terms of safety and efficiency. Beyond the L1e standard that governs this type of bike and is strictly adhered to here, Moustache has refined the chassis down to the smallest detail to ensure safe handling and simple, intuitive control.

A healthy and dynamic ride
The Friday 27 FS Speed frame offers 100 mm of travel at the front and rear and is equipped with a Moustache Magic Grip Control shock absorber and an SR Suntour Mobie 45 fork, allowing for precise and comfortable handling. The Magura brakes, specifically developed for Speed use, will stop you on a dime, even at high speed. Finally, the 35 mm wide Moustache rims fitted with Schwalbe Super Moto-X tires will provide comfort, traction, and durability.

A powerful motor
With a maximum torque of 75 Nm and a light weight of only 2.9 kg, the Performance Line Speed motor will assist you up to 45 km/h easily and safely—the ideal way to cover long distances with a smile. The integrated Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 625 Wh will give you a wide range for your daily challenges. And to make the experience simple and intuitive, the Kiox display provides clear and stylish information about your rides.

Everything at your fingertips
All controls such as assistance modes, lighting settings, and the horn can be operated without your hands ever leaving the handlebars. Take a quick glance in the mirror and change direction quickly and calmly—everything is under control!

The Friday 27 FS Speed complies with the L1e standard in accordance with European regulation 168/2013, but beyond this standard strictly respected by Moustache, purchasing a Speed bike involves certain obligations such as the requirement to insure it and the need to wear a helmet that meets the Speed standard.
Users born after January 1, 1988 must now obtain the AM license (equivalent to the road safety certificate) in order to ride a Speed bike. Furthermore, due to speed limits, the Speed bike is not allowed on bike lanes and can only be ridden on roads.

Another important point: the user is required to register the bike to obtain a registration certificate. The license plate must then be installed on the bike so that the user is fully compliant with current laws.
