How do I clean my drivetrain?
| The chain and drivetrain are the primary wear components on your Moustache e-bike. A clean and properly lubricated chain reduces friction and wear, resulting in more efficient power transmission and smoother, quieter gear shifts. |

Apply a specific drivetrain cleaner, making sure it doesn’t come into contact with the brake pads.

Slowly turn the pedals clockwise to run the chain through the brush, removing dirt and oil residue.
(If you turn the pedals counterclockwise, the chain won’t move, and the pedals will spin freely.) - 3
Use a clean cloth to remove any excess cleaner from the chain.

Apply a suitable lubricant along the entire length of the chain, ensuring even distribution.
Avoid dripping lubricant onto the brakes. Wipe off any excess lubricant with a clean cloth. Don’t over-apply, as this could attract more dirt.
