Why was the product recalled?
It was observed that, in certain cases, this carbon fork may crack or break at the steerer tube during an impact (8 cases identified so far out of 10,000 bikes affected by the recall).
Tests have been conducted to pinpoint the issue and identify the affected batches.
Production deviations have led to variations in carbon thickness in the steerer tube area, which do not comply with the original specifications. With prolonged use or under specific conditions, the risk exists, even though it remains very rare.
The replacement fork uses a different manufacturing process, ensuring greater steerer tube stability.
